Yesterday the miniature park Madurodam has announced that King Willem-Alexander and his family are added to the collection as a 3D-printed family. They are situated on the platform of the miniature of the Huis ten Bosch palace.
The miniature park will also give children up to the age of 13 years, who are visiting Madurodam during July and August the chance to be added to the collection as well and is using a 3D scanner and -printer for this purpose. The 3D printer is named The Fantasitron for this occasion.
At the end of every day, one of the visitors will be chosen as a winner and he or she will be added to the collection on a scale of 1:25. The winners will also get a year free entrance subscription to the park, valid for five persons. The miniatures of the winners will be added to the collection in the park after the summer period.
