Today, Wednesday the 13th of August 2014, BEEVERYCREATIVE has released BEESOFT 3.10.0 (beta).
The major updates include a "Pause Printing"option, estimation of printing time, object weight before each print and an enhancement of power management.
The Pause option allows the user to pause a print job when the change of filament or nozzle cleaning is needed. The job may be resumed right after the maintenance operation has been concluded. This feature will also open a window for several new improvements.
In the meantime, BEEconnect Phase 0 has been announced, giving it a go regarding BEETHEFIRST connectivity. The positive reaction from the maker community has allowed BEEVERYCREATIVE to see a prototype of the final product in just a few days after the announcement. BEEVERYCREATIVE is really happy with the contribution of the maker community.
The estimation of printing time and object weight before each print allows the user to make an informed choice of the printing parameters. There is also an enhacement of the power management which consists in the shutdown of some BEETHEFIRST's electronic components after some time of non-use.
The developement team is now focussed on new printing profile for extra high quality and improving quality in the existing printing profiles.
